About Hotel
Inle Princess Resort lies on the eastern bank of Inle Lake next to the Magyizin Village; the resort is surrounded by magnificent views of the blue mountain ranges and rice paddy fields.
The architecture of Inle princess was drawn from the traditions and culture of the Shan and Intha people. Building started in November 1996 and the resort opened in October 1998.
Inle Princess has 45 Traditional Chalets and 1 Princess’s Chalet, 27 are with Lake Front View and 9 with Private Lake & Garden View and 10 with Mountain View.
Each Chalet has a large front facing glass window that naturally lights up the inside of the room and also provides you with fantastic views of the surrounding scenery. The bed is positioned in the center of the chalet beneath the high roof top.

The Chalets
The Chalets’ facilities include a writing desk, coffee table and chairs, divan, day bed, mini bar, IDD telephone, a wardrobe containing a safety deposit box, a chimney for clod season & a dual type air con for hot season. Each Chalet is provided with complimentary tea, coffee & mineral water. 24 hour room service is also available
The bathroom has a bath tub with hot and cold water and some of the lake view chalets also have a stream stone decorated outdoor shower.
Each Lake View Chalet has a terrace facing to the lake and the Garden View Chalets overlook colourful gardens, all Chalets are surrounded by rice paddy fields and small ponds which are home to many varieties of fresh water fish & wild birds.
Restaurant –
We serve Traditional Shan, Intha, European, Thai, Chinese and Vegetarian cuisine. In the evening you can have a drink on the terrace of the restaurant while enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake. Private & romantic candle light dinners are also available in our Wine Cave.
The Wine Cellar
Our Wine Cellar is in a hand make cave (inspired from traditional Pottery Oven) where we can store about 2500 bottles in it. We had a selection of wines from around the world and from Ayethayar and Red Mountain Vine Yards (local wines). We can also serve inside this cellar a special dinner as “Princess’s Wine Cellar Dinning Experience” (minimum 2 to maximum 16 guests only) on “Inle Long Boat Table” created especially for this cellar.
